Het EHON organiseert in het komende jaar een serie lezingen en workshops onder de noemer: ‘EHON invites Educational Giants’. Daarin nodigen we internationaal bekende grootheden op ons vakgebied uit om een lezing of een workshop te verzorgen. Deze keer hebben we Jenny Lawrence van Hull University uitgenodigd voor de webinar: Supporting programme leaders in HE: Positioning programme leadership as central to HE success.

Over Jenny Lawrence:
Dr Jenny Lawrence, AFSEDA, PFHEA, NTF is a Reader in Higher Education and the Head of the Teaching Excellence Academy at the University of Hull, UK. She has driven multiple change initiatives in universities across the four nations, with a specific focus on creating a higher education environment inclusive to staff and students from groups under-represented in HE. Her research interests include wellbeing in HE, educational and programme leadership.

Over de webinar:
This webinar will explore what educational developers can do to support programme leader success. By looking at examples of effective initiatives from across the globe delegates will be asked to critically reflect on programme leadership in their institutions, how the role and practice of programme leadership can be supported in their specific context and what, if any, cultural or organisational changes need to happen and developmental opportunities initiated to allow individual programme leaders, programme teams and students to succeed in HE.
